Located at 8919 College Pointe Ct, Fort Myers, FL 33919, the 10,820 square foot facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with full-service emergency services, including laboratory, x-rays, CT scanning and ultrasound. “We are excited to expand our emergency services into Fort Myers and surrounding communities,” said Michael Ehrat, CEO at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. “HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital continues to grow to meet the needs of the communities we serve to help ensure residents can receive quality health care services.” The freestanding emergency room is projected to open next month! Congratulations to our DAISY Award winner, Chase! He was nominated by a patient who said the following: "Chase was an ER nurse during my stay at Fawcett... Coming by ambulance for a brain bleed. Chase was a wealth of information during my 24 hour stay in the ER waiting for an ICU bed. His care was superb even though the ER was busy. His follow through was spot on. After being transferred to the ICU for 2 weeks, Chase continued to check in on me throughout my stay at Fawcett. He did this on his own time. He is a prime example of what a nurse is supposed to be and deserves kudos for his compassion, professionalism and care." Find new friends, support, hope and encouragement. Learn about resources, how to prevent another stroke, post-stroke depression, pain, managing prescriptions, self-care for caregivers and other important topics. We hope to help you along your post-stroke journey.
