This year, IFDA recognized a record-breaking 97 drivers, spotlighting the industry’s heightened importance of safety and its success in cultivating long-tenured professionals. Our industry is filled with a lot of great people, but some just stand out. If you have ever been introduced to John Rutkowski you instantly feel like family. John has driven a truck for 37 years, with no accidents, 27 years have been with McLane. Congratulations John for being inducted into the IFDA Hall of Fame. Last week was the 20th annual McLane Restaurant Charity Golf Tournament. Each year this event is dedicated to raising funds that benefit Folds of Honor and the North Texas Food Bank. Last month McLane Cincinnati celebrated a couple of milestones. The warehouse teammates went over 1 year without a lost time injury. They hit that mark on July 27th. Alongside this, the teammates also obtained 100,000 hours without a lost time injury for our site location. This includes all warehouse and office staff as well as the driver team on the road being safe every day. Congratulations on both accomplisments, McLane Cincinnati team!
