In this week’s #MGMMinute: MGM Resorts hosts Salute to the Troops, Military Times recognizes MGM Resorts, Swingers mini-golf opens at Mandalay Bay, MGM Resorts hosts All-MLB Weekend Nov. 13-16 in LV, harness racing history at MGM Northfield Park, and more!
Our 14th annual Salute to The Troops event was held at Mandalay Bay on 11.8.24. Over 600 MGM Resorts employees welcomed over 100 wounded service members for a weekend of fun, revelry and relaxation. Thank you for your service.

Last week, our CEO and President, Bill Hornbuckle was honored with the Battle Born Legacy Award at Travel Nevada’s Governor’s Tourism Conference. The award was in recognition of his decades of service and countless contributions to the tourism industry in Las Vegas, the State of Nevada and across the United States. In his acceptance speech Bill spoke about the importance of Nevada travel organizations, including the LVCVA, because of the work they do bringing tourism to the state and collaborating with communities to enhance local attractions.

This week, the MGM Resorts Global Sales team visited the brand-new state-of-the-art Healing Center by St. Jude’s Ranch for Children to deliver $20,000 in support of this amazing organization and as part of the team’s recent Mindful Matters event series in partnership with Fit City Adventures. The Healing Center is an innovative residential campus that provides critical support to children who are victims of human trafficking, helping them transition from survivors to thriving members of community. “Our goal with the Mindful Matters series was to give our clients meaningful experiences that not only support their well-being but also contribute to the betterment of our community,” said Stephanie Glanzer, CMP, Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President at MGM Resorts. “We are proud of the success of the series and that we are able to support the Healing Center by St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and the incredible work they’ll do.” MGM Resorts #YouHaveToBeHere
