Cleveland became the first team since the 2015-16 Warriors, who hold the all-time record at 24-0, to win 13 straight at the start of the season. - The 2024-25 Nike City Edition uniforms are here! 🔥 The uniforms illustrate the history and heritage of each organization and the city it represents. What's your favorite?
- Klay Thompson made his highly anticipated return to the Bay Area — and it didn’t disappoint. 🏆 During #EmiratesNBACup opening night, Klay Thompson's return was filled with emotion, as the Warriors crowd offered a long standing ovation and Chase Center staff gave him a Captain's salute upon arrival, honoring his historic run with the Warriors. Klay Thompson was a cornerstone of the Warriors franchise for 13 seasons, helping lead the team to four championships. The four-time NBA All-Star also set the NBA record for most points in a single quarter (37) and most three-pointers in a game (14), all with Golden State. Despite a strong performance from Klay, who scored 22 points and hit 6 of 12 from beyond the arc, longtime teammate Stephen Curry closed the game with clutch shot-making and a game-high 37 points, leading the Warriors to a 120-117 victory over the Mavericks.
- The NBA and Houston Rockets are collaborating at this year's AfroTech Conference to provide engaging programming that will highlight the intersection of tech and sports while amplifying inclusivity and innovation. Employees from across the NBA and WNBA will be on-site in Houston, among more than 40,000 total attendees from across technology, entertainment, finance, sports and other sectors.
