Just a few days ago I had the privilege of attending my grandmother’s burial at Arlington National Cemetery as she was laid to rest beside my grandfather, a two time Purple Heart, who bravely fought on the front lines in WWII. Feeling grateful to all those who have sacrificed for our country, including my Summit team members, Thomas Dale, Brian McMeans and Mitch Gainey. I would not be enjoying my life the way I am able to today without your service, and the service of those who went before you. Thank you. 🇺🇸

Summit Human Capital would like to wish everyone a happy Veteran's Day! Our associate, Thomas Dale, served in the United States Marine Corps from 2001-2005. 🇺🇸 When asked what lessons Thomas took away from his time in the military that he could apply to everyday life, he noted that discipline, forming a routine, teamwork, and adaptability were all vital takeaways for him. We also asked him what it means to be able to serve the Federal sector in his day to day working with Summit Human Capital. Thomas described that as a former combat deployed Marine, supporting the Federal sector at Summit Human Capital holds great significance to him on a personal and professional level. It allows him an opportunity to advocate for, and support, his fellow veterans transitioning into civilian life. He also has a deep sense of pride in the work that he does with both clients and candidates, knowing that he is still contributing and serving his country by changing people’s lives. We honor our veterans today and every day. Thank you to those like Thomas who have served and sacrificed to protect our freedoms. Our associate, Kendall Ambrose, spent the day today at Richmond Technology Council - rvatech/ Women in Technology 2024 Conference. Not only did she get to meet and network with leaders in the local tech community, but she got to dive head first into the industry by learning about innovation opportunities, the glaring risk factors behind LLM’s & machine learning, and leading/upcoming forces in todays AI centered world. “It was extremely empowering to be in the same space as so many tech industry leaders on the local and national levels. Looking around and seeing women of all ages and backgrounds being given a seat at the table was truly something that will provide a lasting motivation for me.” Thank you, Richmond Technology Council - rvatech/ for putting on such a wonderful conference.
