About us

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is a free-standing psychiatric facility located in Bradenton, Florida. The facility provides inpatient, residential and outpatient services for children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and behavioral issues. Our treatment approach is designed to offer evidence-based care from an interdisciplinary team to help patients successfully return to their families, home, and community. We pride ourselves on providing the highest level of healthcare services to our patients, never losing sight of the fact that we are caring and comforting those in need with compassion, dignity, and respect.

We were excited to partner with our sister facility, Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center, for a Halloween-themed Networking Event. Great job, Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center's Business Development team, decorating the conference space! We got to provide a fun Halloween-themed breakfast, and it was so much fun collaborating and sharing resources with our community partners.

For October, we had two “Think 13" champions, Abby (pictured on the left) and Cliff (pictured on the right)! Both champions continuously complete their patient rounds promptly and were awarded a special "Think 13" lanyard and a $25 gift card. Thank you for all you do to keep our patients safe.
Our team and residents had a great week celebrating Halloween. We had a Halloween Party for our patients, and our staff decorated pumpkins and participated in a Costume Contest. The winner of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest was Gabby, our Receptionist, and the winner of the Costume Contest was our Medical Director, Dr. Ceasar, who dressed as Darth Vader.
We are honored to partner with Manatee County Sheriff Officers in their Crisis Intervention Training for all their new hires. Pictured is our Director of Clinical Services, Marie C., presenting on personality traits and mental health.
