Earlier this week, we kicked off the ASPIRE program by welcoming our 54 participants, plus their co-learners, as they begin developing & cultivating a leadership mindset. We also welcomed back three alumni from last year to help coach the cohorts through the program, excited to see Jillian Cruser, Brian Dyson, JD, & Richelle Fields excel in these roles! We can’t wait to see these folks outthink, outperform, & outmaneuver as they increase awareness of themselves and an understanding of how they can lead from their current role! #ASPIRE #learninganddevelopment #georgiatech #survivor

Yesterday, the Student and Campus Event Centers Event Services team took a valuable pause from our daily activities to reflect and plan for the future. We were privileged to have Bryan D. Harber M.Ed. guide us through affinity exercises and force field analysis. Together, we identified our shared vision for our department's BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal): "We are event experts". I am thrilled to lead this dedicated team as we continue to #keepgrowing and best serve our campus community.

Congratulations Kala!!! It is possible to hold two emotions at the same time. The WLPD team is currently feeling a great deal of JOY and SADNESS as we bid happy trails to our collegue and friend Kala Taylor, M.Ed. We are excited for her as she faces new challenges and at the same time sad that we won’t be able to see her smiling face everyday. Your new organization is extremely lucky to have a gem like you. We are grateful for our time together and we wish you nothing but success we will miss you!
