Emet includes two deposits that were formed in separate basins, possibly as parts of an interconnected lacustrine playa lake.
This location was previously named here as "Killik Mine" (or "Kilik Mine"), but no local knows this mine. The correct name of the opencast pit is Emet Eti Bor Mine and this name is the same you can find on Google Maps.

Note: Espey is the name of a small village that was engulfed by the open-pit mine.
