Composite sill (80 m thick, 320 m strike length) of porphyritic alkali-feldspar microgranite to syenite, associated with peralkaline granite. The microgranite bears disseminated Nb-Ta mineralization.

Waimirite-(Y) occurs at the main REE mineral in hydrothermally altered quartz-rich microgranite; it is present as inclusions (up to several hundreds of microns in size) in an undetermined Ca-Y-F mineral.
