You'll get Mars' best-selling chocolates inside the variety box

The chocolate behemoth, Mars, has delighted sweet-toothed fans by dropping a new chocolate variety box that boasts 30 full-sized chocolate bars all priced at an astonishingly thrifty 66p each. The assortment is packed with confectionery staples - Snickers, Twix, Peanut M&Ms, Bounty, and Maltesers - collectively weighing in at around 1.4kg of sugary treats.

The best part? It's actually more wallet-friendly than Tesco, given that picking up the equivalent bars there would set you back £21.84. (It's worth noting that Tesco offers only larger packs of M&M's, Maltesers, and Twix, so the maths was done by calculating the cost per gram and extrapolating to the amount present in the Mars box.).

Another shared: "Brilliant value for money filled with my favourite chocolate bars."

Yet another buyer was quite pleased, stating: "Very happy with this purchase, it was well worth it, bought for Christmas better value than selection boxes for the kids."

Not everyone was entirely smitten though; there were minor grumbles, with one person pointing out: "Not entirely convinced these were full size bars as advertised, but still excellent value for these dark nights that are now upon us. Happily pay the discounted price, but having seen the product I'd struggle to justify the cost at full price."

As mentioned earlier, three of the bars/bags are standard, full size - it's just that supermarkets like Tesco sell the 'jumbo' versions. In addition, Cadbury also sells a massive box of their Heroes - offering customers 2kg of Creme Egg Twisted, Double Decker, Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Caramel, Wispa, Crunchie, Fudge, Twirl and Eclairs for £23.99 directly through its site or £25 on Amazon for £20.

The box has received a 4.7 out of 8,857 ratings on Amazon. Alternatively, there's a 2kg box of Quality Street available for £25.99 on Amazon as well, reports Somerset Live.
