Three major streaming platforms are lining up to make a fly-on-the-wall show about Manchester United.

Several documentaries of the type have been made about Premier League outfits. Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and Newcastle have all seen Amazon make 'All or Nothing' shows about their seasons.

The Red Devils have apparently not ruled out the idea of making a fly-on-the-wall show, but it is not currently high on their list of priorities, according to The Sun. Production companies representing Netflix, Amazon and Disney+ have reportedly reached out to gauge their levels of interest.

Main focuses on the red half of Manchester are on improving their low league position and improving the club's facilities with work ongoing at Carrington and discussions continuing about their stadium - whether to redevelop Old Trafford or building a new arena.

A documentary about the club's current state would certainly attract viewers. United have endured notable highs and lows throughout Erik ten Hag's tenure with the Dutchman himself under pressure to keep his job. The new INEOS structure has been put in place by Sir Jim Ratcliffe with the likes of Omar Berrada and Dan Ashworth on the scene - both men who have taken part in Amazon documentaries at their previous clubs.

In previous documentaries managers have been moved on with Tottenham's decision to axe Mauricio Pochettino and bring in Jose Mourinho a major part of the opening episodes in their Amazon series.

Ten Hag though remains defiant over his position having picked up successive draws in challenging away games. On Sunday they held Aston Villa to a goalless draw, which came three days after they drew 3-3 to Porto in the Europa League.

The United boss was though was pleased with their latest display following their defence being questioned. He said: "We had that resilience, the whole season. We conceded three against Tottenham [in a 3-0 defeat last weekend] because we were down to 10 and we still went for the win. But for the rest this is our fourth clean sheet.

"This tells you we are in a good direction. Now also we improve defending counter attacks, and we improve controlling possession. But also we have to improve in the final third."
