Description

FooM is a faithful text-adventure implementation of the first level of Doom, "E1M1: Hangar". The gameplay is as close to the original Doom as possible in text-adventure environment. Therefore, the player needs to watch his supply of health, armor and ammo (which can be replenished by picking up bonuses strewn about the rooms), as well as fight enemies who keep dealing random amounts of damage while they're near. The layout of "Hangar" is reproduced as closely as possible (even the secret areas), with each individual area of every room implemented as a separate location.
