Neil Finn did a round of busking at an Auckland market last week. Well, sort of. Neil surprised shoppers at Coatsville Market in Auckland last Sunday when he and fellow Split Enz member Eddie Rayner knocked out the three songs ‘Distant Sun’, ‘Don’t Dream Its Over’ and ‘I Got You’.

Eighty two. Paul McCartney is 82. (Well, I guess it makes a change to referring to the good Sir as an ex-Beatle). Now, where was I? Oh yes, in Santiago, Chile, at the Estadio Monumental, watching this magnificent human perform to and thrill thousands of people. It is always heartwarming to see multi generations singing along to all the songs at a Paul McCartney show. More impressively here, because most people speak only Spanish.
