Adelaide is taking its Adelaide Guitar Festival annual. After usually happening every two years, the Adelaide Guitar Festival set for July will be the first annual event.

Adelaide Guitar Festival cannot go ahead in 2020, due to the ongoing public health emergency of COVID-19. The closure of Adelaide Festival Centre venues to the public, the ban on public gatherings and interstate and international travel restrictions have significantly impacted our artists and programming.

Adelaide Festival Cancelled

Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2020 has been cancelled, following the South Australian Government’s declaration of a public health emergency, and ban on non-essential gatherings of 100 people or more at indoor premises including Adelaide Festival Centre. There are also travel bans in force which affect artists coming from interstate and overseas to South Australia.
