South of central Johannesburg in the verdant residential area of Glenvista exists such a golf course that, to see it, you would think that you�re dreaming. Home to more than 400 indigenous trees and the Goliath Heron the course at Glenvista is absolutely majestic in appearance. Four of the estates five dams come into play during a round and a perennial stream flowing through the grounds ensure the lushest conditions, all year round.

The parkland course is kept in sublime condition and with challenging fairways and greens, be sure to experience a course that brings out the best in your repertoire. That said, the course caters to all levels of player ensuring a good test for all.

Designed in 1967 by the late Sid Brews, one of South Africa�s former golfing elite, the club saw its doors first open to players in 1973 a year after Sid passed away.

Although a �members club� Glenvista graciously opens its doors to visitors and encourages all to come and visit. Visitors will be please to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Johannesburg and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment. Superb facilities blended with immaculate maintenance makes Glenvista a definite must-play.
