Just 25 kilometres from Cape Town is the small town of Kuilsrivier, or Kuils River in English. It is a quiet spot in which to stay while exploring the loveliness of the Western Cape and, particularly, the world-renowned Cape Winelands. It is also home to the Kuilsrivier Golf Club, which has been established on what used to be the Hazendal Chateau farm, on the road to the wine-making Mecca of Stellenbosch.

The Kuilsrivier Golf Course has a number of gorgeous water hazards, which are advantageous for a number of reasons; namely their beauty and the birdlife that they attract. The good drainage system ensures that the course never needs to be closed for a season.

The golf course is open from Monday to Sunday, and visitors are always welcome to join members in playing a fun round. The driving range is ideal for getting in some practice, or for those that do not have the time to play a full round.

Visitors will be please to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Cape Town and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.

There is a pro shop, clubhouse, halfway house, and bar. These facilities combine to create a great place in which to relax with fellow golfers in beautiful surrounds.
