Montebello Craft and Design Centre is a project supporting local Arts, Craft and Design.

Situated in Newlands, Cape Town, this center overflows with talent from artists, jewellers, painters, designers, landscapers and filmmakers. Here you will find over 20 arts and crafts workshops and studios, a nursery and historic greenhouse as well as a forge, delightful deli farm stall and a restaurant serving delicious meals.

The Montebello Estate as an interesting history and there is a lot to see and learn about the area and the surrounding homestead and stables. Classes are offered in African dance and music, painting, weaving, ceramics and jewellery making. Come and enjoy an afternoon watching creations being made and browse through a variety of unique crafts which will make perfect gifts or a great addition to your home.
