Chisomo Safari Lodge is a Limpopo game lodge providing a wildlife experience for anyone visiting Valley of the Olifants.

Chisomo Safari Camp overlooks the Makhutsi River, tucked deep in the Big Five Karongwe Game Reserve in Limpopo, South Africa, offering an Unrivalled African Safari experience where the warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fine cuisine compliment the excellent Big 5 game viewing.

Guests enjoy early morning and late afternoon safaris in open 4�4 safari vehicles conducted by experienced guides and trackers. The friendly staff at Chisomo ensure that guests are given Personal attention and service at all times. During the day, guests may relax at the pool or retire to one of the beautifully decorated lounges.

Accommodation

Stay in one of the luxury tented suites, scattered under knobthorns and jackalberry trees and looking out onto the Makhutsi River. Look out for the Big 5 from your private deck in between safaris, relax at the pool, spend time in one of the lounges and enjoy delicious meals in the beautiful dining area or under the Limpopo sky.

Children at Chisomo

Children welcome. Children under the age of 6 years not allowed on Game Drives, however, there is a Children's programme available for them. The Little Paw Centre with a children's program at an additional cost. Baby Sitting available at an additional cost.

Karongwe Private Game Reserve overlooks the majestic Drakensberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province. It is set apart from similar properties by the extraordinary lengths the owners of the lodge have gone to in order to ensure that your stay here is a memorable experience.

Safari Suites

The spacious bedroom has a standup wardrobe, desk and chair, a minibar and coffee/tea making facilities. This all leads out onto your own private furnished viewing deck, which forms the entrance to the suite. The Safari Suites, all, with en-suite bathrooms, face the beautiful Makhutswe River and wildlife can be viewed from the deck as it emerges from the reeds for grazing. Kudu, Nyala and Bushbuck are as common a sight as elephant and even the elusive leopard.
