Dassiekrans Two is a chalet in Groendal Wilderness Area overlooking a stream fed by a perennial spring which has shallow pools where you can watch the dragonflies hover in the morning sun.

The cabin is furnished with a King-size bed or twin beds. The en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

There is an open plan kitchenette with a 12V camping fridge, a dining area and indoor fireplace. Lighting is supplied by solar powered batteries.

Outside there is a patio and an outdoor braai area.

Activities & Attractions

The scenery in the Kleinrivier gorge is spectacularly beautiful and there are frequent pools to tempt you in on a hot summer day. If you are lucky you may encounter klipspringer, kudu or other game that we have introduced.

Kleinrivier is a paradise for hikers, birders and those who simply want to escape other people for a while. We have not introduced any of the big five so it is safe to walk and explore our many trails on your own.
