Enjo Nature Farm is a highly recommended property for self catering in Biedouw Valley for anyone visiting the Cederberg region.
You will find Enjo Nature Farm far from the main tourist tracks in the wild and unspoiled Biedouw Valley of the Cederberg Mountains. The Valley is known for its magnificent wild flowers and incredible beautiful landscape. Enjoy the quiet beauty and millions of stars at night. Come out, make some stories and free your mind!
Accommodation
Enjo Nature Farm offers a selection of self-catering cottages and cabins.
Please see the individual unit descriptions with photographs below, to assist you with your choice.
Activities
Discover nature as close and as intense as possible! There are lovely hiking trails on our farm up to our spring and the "Enjo-Amphitheatre" and an extremely nice full day hike to the top of Krakadouw Mountain nearby. Kids love to bottle feed our lambs in season and play with our dogs and cats. We have tame horses wandering around free and they love to visit you at your Cottage.
Explore the Cederberg or test the 4x4 route nearby. Take a drive to the old pictures missionary village Wupperthal and learn how they hand make the leather shoes, visit their soap factory and refresh in nice rock pools. See the Sevilla Rock Art Trail at Pakhuis Pass or the Rooibos tea production in the Biedouw Valley.
Our spring fed dam is filled for swimming all year round! The river flows round about from April to beginning of January depending on the rain. We have a nature dam with paddle skis and canoe as well where guests and their four legged friends are having a great time. Walk our Labyrinth that we laid in a 200 year old sheep kraal. Inquire about Mountain biking on the farm, or maybe rock climbing at world famous Rocklands? Every unit has an outside braai area and outside sofa which make stargazing out here even better.

Loadshedding Facilities
What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.

Lonely Planet Cottage
Our "Lonely Planet" is the most remote and private cottage we have. It is situated in our beautiful Oskloof. You can access it via a Jeep track. It is about a five min drive from the farmhouse. Solar heated hot water, a gas fridge and a two plate gas stove as well as solar lamps give you all the needed comfort. There is no Eskom electricity in the "Lonely Planet". Therefore there are no fans in the rooms, but we have built a nice small natural Jacuzzi ( water temperature depends on the outside temperature ) into the stonewall next to the "Lonely Planet" for you to cool down in summer. It has a wooden loft with two single beds under the thatch roof above the main area reachable by ladder and a small separate bedroom with a Queen size bed. A fireplace inside and an outside braai area. Due to the remoteness the cottage is not cleaned by us in between the bookings, so we expect you to leave it as you find it. With your Check In you receive all the bedding and towels and with the Check Out you bring it back to us with the garbage bag. There is a hiking trail that leads you in about 15 to 20 min to the farmhouse and our big swimming dam. All accommodation is self catering. If you like breakfast or dinner please book with us ahead. Bedding and towels are fully supplied with all our accommodation and we sell firewood here on the farm. The Biedouw river runs from about April till mid January depending on the rainfall. Our nice spring fed swimming dam with wooden decks and sunbeds is full all year round.
