Eshowe Hills Eco and Golf Estate is a highly recommended B&B with self catering option, providing accommodation in Eshowe for anyone visiting the Zululand region.

Situated on the rolling hills just outside Eshowe, with magnificent views down to the coast, and within easy reach of the new King Shaka Airport, Eshowe Hills Eco and Golf Estate offers not only a unique golfing experience for enthusiasts but also a base for visitors wishing to explore the historical or natural attractions of beautiful Zululand.

The estate encompasses what was a small nature reserve so there are many walks and trails through forest and grassland where one is very likely to come across bushbuck or blue duiker. In addition the Estate has six all weather tennis courts and two squash courts.

Accommodation

The former Secretary's Cottage at the Eshowe Hills Club House has been converted into B&B accommodation consisting of three double bedrooms with bathrooms en suite and a sitting room with a television, microwave and refrigerator.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available as an optional extra and served at the club restaurant close by.

Eshowe

Eshowe itself is steeped in history having once been the Victorian capital of Zululand and has an interesting museum village. In recent years Eshowe has become quite famous for its Aerial Boardwalk set 10 metres above the ground in the beautiful Dlinza Forest.

Imfolosi Game Reserve is one and half hours away and Hluluwe just two hours.

Lovely, clean, well set up, very friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast menu, wonderful estate. Very secure area. Felt like home for the three nights we spent there. We had a wonderful time at Eshowe Hills over Christmas last year. We stayed in the self catering unit which is just across from the club house - very comfortable and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and made good use of the club and its facilities (including the restaurant) It is a great setting with amazing bird life and was very peaceful - highly recommended!
