Essenhout is a self catering holiday home in Schoemanskloof located on the Goederus Guest Farm, a small macadamia farm in the Schoemanskloof Valley. This is the ideal base for visiting Nelspruit, White River, Sabie, Graskop, Hazyview and Kaapsehoop, or come to relax in nature.

This Mpumalanga accommodation is a good halfway house on your way to the Kruger National Park or Mozambique.

Self Catering Accommodation

Essenhout is a self catering holiday home with three bedrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second room is furnished with a single bed. The third room is furnished with two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, no oven. There is a living area with comfortable furniture.

On Site Facilities

Outside is a patio, a large garden and a shared swimming pool.
Off street parking is available.
Please bring your own swimming towels and braai wood.

The Area

Schoemanskloof is a somewhat undiscovered location, tucked away in Mpumalanga, South Africa. This is the ideal location to unwind, de-stress and relax in perfect tranquillity and delightful hospitality. Schoemanskloof is also the starting point of the annual Lowveld Crocodile Canoe Marathon, held in February which brings a flurry of visitors to the area to take part in and support the race.

Many of the other activities are those that bring you closer to nature and the reason why most visitors come here: to be at peace and quiet. You can do bird watching, or enjoy the raw nature found on one of the many hiking trips in the area.
