Fugitives' Drift Lodge is a Rorkes Drift hotel providing accommodation in 10 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Battlefields region.

The spectacular Fugitives' Drift property, a Natural Heritage Site, overlooks both Isandlwana and Oskarsberg at Rorke's Drift. Fugitives' Drift Lodge is set on a lovely homestead with a well established garden, vast bird life and a swimming pool. There is a museum at the lodge with a remarkable collection of Zulu war memorabilia.

Fugitives' Drift Lodge offers a number of rooms. Rooms at the lodge are en-suite with private verandas and have sweeping views of the reserve.

These spacious en-suite rooms each have a private veranda with views over the plains flanking the Buffalo River Gorge. Rooms feature King-size beds or twin beds and the bathrooms have baths and showers.

Enjoy a flavorsome meal at our wonderful restaurant or unwind and soak up the sun on the loungers alongside the pool. During your stay we can arrange battlefield tours or you can enjoy horse riding, hiking and fishing nearby.

Tours

Thought-provoking and highly informative tours are conducted daily by experienceds and knowledgeable guides to Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift. Walks and horse rides through the reserve to view wild- and bird life are offered as well as fishing on the Buffalo River.
