Henley River Lodge is a highly recommended property for self catering in Henley-on-Klip for up to 8 guests visiting the Southern Gauteng region.

Situated in Henley on Klip on the banks of the Klip River, Henley River Lodge is an exclusive use lodge just 50km south of Johannesburg. Exclusive use means you never need to share the lodge with other guests, regardless of the number of rooms you book.

Self Catering Accommodation

Henley River Lodge accommodates a maximum of eight guests in four bedrooms. There is underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed, has air-conditioning, a river view and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The second room is furnished with a Queen-size bed, has a river view and makes use of a separate bathroom down the passage fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The third room has a river view and is furnished with a Queen-size bed. The glass roof en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

The fourth room is smaller, has a garden view and is furnished with a double bed. The glass roof en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

Please note the rates depend on the number of rooms booked and unbooked rooms remain locked and are not let out to other guests. You always have exclusive use of the facilities.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. Features include a gas � electric stove, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a charcoal braai available. There is a boma / braai area at the river � perfect for an afternoon braai. The lodge is fully equipped and you need only bring your food and drink to self-cater.

Location

Henley has several restaurants nearby, and other points of interest are Suikerbossrand (15km) and Bass Lake (2km). The river is navigable and you are welcome to bring canoes. Swimming in the river is not recommended as the water is not potable, but fishing is allowed.

Notes

Children are allowed but please note we do not have cot facilities. Guests with children who are not potty trained must bring their own camp cots please. Guests also need to exercise due care as the river is close and accessible to the lodge, and the lodge takes no responsibility for the safety of its guests in this regard. Only the number of rooms required are opened, the rest of the house is for your exclusive use. Bedrooms not in use will be locked.
