Lentelus Farmstay is a highly recommended Barrydale Bed & Breakfast providing accommodation in 3 guest rooms for anyone visiting the Cape Overberg region.

Situated in Barrydale, Lentelus Farmstay offers accommodation in three separate units. A stay at Lentelus, which is surrounded by pear trees is a must when visiting. In spring the blossoms are a marvel and during summer peaches, plums and apples are there to be picked.

Accommodation

The units are offered on a bed & breakfast basis. They are light and airy and offer all the comforts one might need. Taste excellent wines in the Joubert-Tradauw private cellar, or relax at the swimming pool in the beautiful garden. This is South African country life at its best.

Orchard Cottage Downstairs:
The unit has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is a fridge, tea / coffee facilities and a living area with a fireplace. The patio gives access to the garden and swimming pool.

Orchard Cottage Upstairs:
The unit is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a fridge, tea / coffee facilities and a fireplace in the living room. The terrace boasts beautiful views of the valley.

The Garden Room:
A garden room has a separate entrance. It is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a fridge, tea / coffee making facilities and two additional children's beds. This is a family room with access to the garden and swimming pool.

One of my favorite places on our recent trip! Love everything about this place - beautiful place, beautiful surroundings, warm and friendly people (and the dog). Would love to go back there and will definitely recommend this place.

Aside from the tranquil and beautiful location, I was impressed at the extent to which the owners have given great attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay. Being winter there were not only hot water bottles and electric blankets but also the sheets and duvet covers were brushed cotton to create a super cosy experience. I loved the fresh cut flowers too!
