Paternoster Lodge is a 4 star graded guest house offering Paternoster accommodation in 7 guest rooms.

The picturesque fishing town of Paternoster is internationally known for its abundance of Cape Lobster (crayfish) and other delicious sea produce. Situated 140km from Cape Town, it is only 90 minutes drive away from Cape Town International Airport. Paternoster is one of the oldest coastal towns along the Cape West Coast.

Accommodation

Paternoster Lodge offers seven elegant, spacious en-suite rooms; all with magnificent sea views of the long sandy beach. All rooms have double beds and in some of the rooms the beds can be split into single units.

The rooms all have, fans, fridge with mini-bar and DSTV (no card required). The interiors soft furnishings and textures reflect the combination of sand beaches and seashells and the soft fabrics ensures ultimate comfort and enjoyment.

The Restaurant

Our a la carte restaurant with stunning 180 degree sea views, serves sumptuous food which include traditional West Coast dishes and tasty seafood, all prepared in a crispy clean, open-view kitchen. Our wine list is stocked with a variety of good South African Wines. Our accommodation rates include a delicious breakfast.

Please note: Our restaurant is closed on Monday except in peak and busy seasons and school holidays but guests can still check in and receive breakfast etc. We make reservations at the other restaurants in paternoster for Guests if they require dinner.

Sunday the restaurant closes at 16h00.

Received a free room upgrade to a large, very comfortable room with massive bathroom and stunning view of the Atlantic ocean. Friendly and helpful reception and restaurant staff.

Your website plus the website of Paternoster Lodge did NOT advise us that there were no staff on the premises from 16.00 hours on the Sunday until 07.00 on Tuesday. We did get breakfast on Monday but other than that the bar and restaurant were closed during those times/days. We were very disappointed. There is also no one site overnight. On a positive note the rooms were pleasant. We do not feel we can recommend this venue to others Yours David Torrance
