River Cottage is one of five holiday cottages in Groot Marico, scattered on the farm.

The cottage has a warm, cosy atmosphere and accommodates four guests in two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed and the other has two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.

The cottage is well equipped for self catering and includes a fridge, two-plate gas stove, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. The cottage has a fireplace for chilly evenings and a braai area.

Please Note

Guests need to provide their own towels and firewood.

Activities and Attractions

The Marico River runs through the farm and is definitely the highlight for those who like swimming or canoeing! Riverstill co-hosts the annual HC Bosman Festival and there is a labyrinth to be walked, trails to be hiked, fishing in the river and amazing stargazing at night.

Other attractions include bird watching and picnicking. Guests are welcome to pick from the herb gardens that grow around the main house to spice up their salads and to sample the locally distilled mampoer.
