Shamwari Bayethe Tented Lodge is an Eastern Cape game lodge providing a wildlife experience for anyone visiting Frontier Country.

The name "Bayethe" comes from an African greeting that, when translated directly, means "I salute you". This conveys the deep respect and the warm welcome that is such an important part of African culture. And it's this warmth and honour that shines through at the gorgeous Bayethe Tented Lodge.

The lodge offers a spectacular safari experience, where guests are invited to indulge in the serenity of their surrounds and the unique beauty of the lodge's setting. The views of the African bush are breath-taking and the solitude unrivalled.

Accommodation

There are twelve superior tents sleeping two guests each. Bayethe is a splendid stone walled and thatch roofed lodge with a large deck area overlooking a waterhole. Each tent is air-conditioned & heated in winter with an en-suite shower and bathtub, plunge pool and deck.

Each of the superior blended canvas suites can sleep a maximum of two adults. Each Tent Includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, international dial telephone, fitted International adapters, electronic safe. hairdryer, en-suite bathroom with bath, and an outdoor shower, private deck and plunge pool, fire place, electric blankets.
