Shondoro Mountain Retreat is a guest house with self catering option, providing accommodation in Vaalwater for anyone visiting the Waterberg region.

Nestled in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains, Shondoro Mountain Retreat is perfectly located for the weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday or stay-over. Shondoro Mountain Retreat is a 150ha bushveld farm that lies in the malaria free Waterberg Mountains.

Self Catering Accommodation

At Shondoro Mountain Retreat there are three stone and thatch cottages each with its own small boma and braai area. Outside kitchens offer the opportunity to cook and eat in the open. The kitchens have a microwave, small table top oven / stove and a fridge.

There are two one bedroom cottages and one two bedroom cottage. All of the cottages are air conditioned. Please see the individual room descriptions with photographs below, to assist you with your choice.

At Shondoro you can enjoy our natural swimming pool with a view of the mountain. The communal pool area at the cottages has a braai area.
