The Snug is a romantic cottage in Dullstroom sleeping two adults. The unit has one bedroom furnished with a double bed, and a bathroom equipped with a Victorian claw-foot bath, hand basin and WC.

There is a small kitchenette and a sitting area with a TV with DStv.

The verandah overlooks a verdant vegetable garden with trailing vines as well as the nearby dam. Barbeque on the covered veranda whilst enjoying the magnificent night sky and the sounds of nature.

The cottage has an "outage" backup in the form of torches, paraffin and LED lamps, candles, gas cooker and kettle- also reminiscent of a passed era.

Attractions and Activities

Schaefers' Halt is a secure and scenic country property where scenic walks, mountain hikes, bird watching and mountain biking can be enjoyed. Throughout the spring and summer months wild flowers are abundant and the beautiful country gardens attract many birds.

Guests can try their hand at the gentle art of fly-fishing in the three ponds or catch a wild trout on a stretch of the Dorp's river. (Fly-fishing equipment available for hire).
