Tulbagh Country Cottages is a B&B with self catering option, providing accommodation in Tulbagh for anyone visiting the Cape Winelands region.

Stay like a king on Tulbagh's historic Church Street in one of the Tulbagh Country Cottages. There are a variety of converted outbuildings that includes wagon sheds, heavenly lofts and a coachman's cottage.

To emphasize their original and restored features, our cottages are furnished with period furniture, Persian carpets and beautiful artworks throughout

Accommodation

All cottages feature queen size beds, larger units also have single bed(s). A goods night rest is assured with hygienic memory foam mattresses and white cotton percale linen.

All our self catering rooms have private bathroom with shower, while some of the cottages also have baths. Please inquire at reception for room specifics.

Kitchenettes are fitted with all the modern essentials and cooking utensils for basic self catering. This includes fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster.

All units have heaters, fans and electric blankets. Most have air conditioning as well.

Cottages all have a comfortable sitting and eating area and well as private outside/courtyard living space. Guests are encouraged to make free use of the pool and guesthouse facilities including the covered terrace braai / barbeque area.

Breakfast

An optional breakfast is available to all our self catering guests, a treat served in the main house on antique crockery and silver cutlery.

The unit consists of an open plan living / lounge area with a sofa set, yellowwood dining table, antique French wardrobe and has a beautiful queen-sized, extra length 4-poster bed. The fully equipped kitchenette is perfect for light meals and is equipped with a microwave, hot plate, kettle, toaster and fridge. The charming en-suite bath and shower room is decorated with handmade blue-and-white tiles, and Victorian finishes. The extra length bath is perfect for winter soaks, and the separate open shower is ideal for cooling off in the summer.
