Hailey Bieber is acting as a "gatekeeper" for her husband Justin Bieber following Sean 'P Diddy' Combs' New York arrest.

The disgraced rapper is currently being held in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center as he faces charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has denied all charges against him and pled not guilty in court.

As Diddy awaits trial, videos of him hanging out with a teen Justin have resurfaced on social media. Hailey made a cryptic post on Instagram amid the drama as she shared a picture of Justin flipping off to the cameras with the caption: "Mood."

Now, a source has suggested one reason for Hailey's post. They claimed: "Hailey believes that she is Justin’s gatekeeper and this was her way of showing the world how she feels about the whole situation [with Diddy] – not Justin."

Speaking to The Daily Mail, the source urged: "Hailey needs to let Justin act for himself instead of using an image of him to convey what she feels he should be saying." However, they added: "But Justin really has no voice right now and it is sad."

The Mirror US has approached Hailey's representatives for comment. Neither Hailey nor Justin have publicly commented on Diddy's arrest.

Justin was dragged into the drama when videos of him hanging out with Diddy as a teenager resurfaced on social media following the rapper's arrest in New York last month.

Diddy was arrested on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all of the charges against him.

Combs has been denied bail twice by the Southern District of New York. His legal team has now filed a third appeal for pretrial release with the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Combs' legal team is requesting his immediate release from prison on appropriate bail conditions. The rapper's legal team cited alleged legal errors in the court's decision, as well as alleged insufficient evidence for detention.

In the latest filing, Diddy's attorneys have proposed banning women from entering his home as part of the bail conditions. The only female visitors to his own home would be family or the mothers of his children.

Diddy's legal team has also said the disgraced music mogul has promised to undergo weekly drug tests and not meet with anyone considered to be a witness. Combs has also pledged to provide a visitors log, according to the bail package obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

Diddy 's legal team has argued he does not hold a conceivable flight risk, despite claims made by federal prosecutors. His legal team has argued he is "not a threat to the community".
