Believing that the education is a constant searching for learning how to learn the art of knowing... more Believing that the education is a constant searching for learning how to learn the art of knowing to live, in the difficult current task of teaching (based on the Latin term insignare), Marcelo Pertussatti assumed and chose to develop this belief in the space of the Capoeira Circle, where he recognized an intersection between the Clinical Philosophy and the Physical Education, either in the intersection of the person with herself, with the others, with the environment, or with the world.

CAPOEIRA AND COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION: DIALOGUES BETWEEN LEARNING AND TEACHING Author: Marcelo Per... more CAPOEIRA AND COMPREHENSIVE EDUCATION: DIALOGUES BETWEEN LEARNING AND TEACHING Author: Marcelo Pertussatti Advisor: Professor Solange Maria Alves, Ph.D ABSTRACT Capoeira and Comprehensive Education: dialogues between learning and teaching is a documental, bibliographical and qualitative research, which has identified and analyzed the conceptions of Capoeira present in official documents concerning to comprehensive education. Based on this, an analysis of the pedagogical implications to the organization of capoeira into the comprehensive education, which result from these conceptions was done, considering the importance of the Programa Mais Educação (Program More Education), from the Brazilian Ministry of Education to the promotion of learning and teaching of Capoeira. The present reflection has the objective to present the relevance of Capoeira as a possibility of... more The present reflection has the objective to present the relevance of Capoeira as a possibility of a dialogue of knowledge in the contemporary discussions around the decolonial processes, from the recognition of its ancestral, intercultural and intangible patrimonial character, as well as its libertarian identity and resistance. Capoeira has been present in more than 160 countries and in all of the continents since its internationalization in the 60's of the last century. The analysis of Brazilian documents such as the Dossiê de Registro e Salvaguarda da Capoeira como Patrimônio Cultural do Brasil (Dossier of Registration and Safeguard of Capoeira as Cultural Heritage of Brazil) and the Estatuto da Igualdade Racial (Statute of Racial Equality) seeks to contribute, firstly, to the strengthening of Capoeira, its knowledge in encounter and its expressions, legitimate cultural assets, that is, for the African identity affirmation of the Brazilian people, but also for each Capoeira practitioner. The dialogical organization of capoeira's knowledge, through the perspectives of its corporeity, musicality, symbology, history and historicity, rituality and ancestry, contributes to the patrimonial care, to the formation of Afro-Brazilian cultural identity.

El presente relato de experiencia presenta los puntos principales de una discusión concerniente a... more El presente relato de experiencia presenta los puntos principales de una discusión concerniente a la Capoeira como cultura que interrelaciona saber, expresiones y manifestaciones de matriz afro-brasileña, con el objetivo de responder a la pregunta de cómo la Capoeira puede contribuir al fortalecimiento y la valoración de la (s) identidad (s) afro-brasileña (s) y del patrimonio inmaterial. Se trata de una cuestión que está siendo investigada y cuya reflexión basa un importante capítulo de investigación de Maestría en Educación en marcha, en torno a la temática sobre ‘las interrelaciones de la Capoeira en la educación escolar’. Esta investigación se apoya en estudios acerca de la interculturalidad, de la identidad y de cuestiones étnico-raciales relacionadas con el conocimiento y escolar y de la Capoeira, en la sociedad globalizada. En los debates sobre la mundialización de la cultura en la globalización y en los procesos de colonización en América Latina, el estudio de la dinámica de los saberes de la Capoeira en encuentro (diálogo intercultural de interrelación) se inserta en las discusiones sobre 'medios, identidades y debates postcoloniales: saberes, perspectivas, posibilidades'.
