Response Sgt and Londoner on a career break. Still building the world of Policing in #Lego 🚨

And just like that, 12 years, 2 medals, a whole bunch of memories and wonderful friends later; I’m done. Policing you were my childhood dream. I’m so proud to have been one of you and do my small bit. You’ll always be part of me, but time to live and move on. #ThinBlueLine 🚨

🚨Moment of the year.🚨 Whilst stood in the cold this evening, an old gent approached me. He said “Can I stand with you?” I said of course & we stood together in silence. When he turned to leave, he said “We don’t deserve you lot, I wanted you to know you’re not on your own.”🇬🇧
I sat the Sgt’s exam on a bit of a whim in 2020. I wasn’t sure if it was for me or if it was what I wanted to do, & failed it. I re-sat it in 2021 & passed. Since earlier this year I’ve acted up on & off and loved it. Amazed to say I passed the promotion process today! 😅☺️🚨

3 Years ago, Spanish Banker, Ignacio Echeverria was in the wrong place at the right time. Armed only with his skateboard he saved a number of lives before losing his own. He received the George Medal for his bravery in the face of Terror. We are still, so grateful. #LondonBridge

Someone knows who this and where they are right now. An 87 year old man, Thomas O’Halloran, was murdered yesterday in Greenford, West London. If you have any information call
@metpoliceuk
on 999 immediately. In the mean time,
@twitter
please spread this far and wide. #Wanted

Driving a parent on lights & sirens to hospital so they can see their baby’s last breath is probably the hardest thing I’ve done and ever will do. No words. #ThinBlueLine ⬛️🟦⬛️
When you finally meet the legendary
@Number10cat
😅 Staying cool in the sunshine, but silent on what it’s really like to live in the most famous address in London… 👀 A consummate professional, he was more bothered by my lack of treats, and I don’t blame him🚨

The final thing to say, is something that shoulda stick long in our memories, is the reaction to Police Officers working hard by the general public. Smiles, cheers & applause. There are a minority that detest us, the majority support & believe in us. Remember that. #ThinBlueLine

The worst news. 😞 Thinking of everyone
@nottspolice
this evening. Giving your life to safe another in the Line of Duty, is the most courageous and devastating act. My thoughts are once again with Sgt Saville’s loved ones, friends and colleagues this evening. #ThinBlueLine 🚨

Ok let’s talk about desensitisation…👀 I don’t know how many sudden deaths I’ve been to. I can’t tell you how many dead bodies I’ve seen. That’s not a normal thing to say is it? (⚠️ Health warning for the rest of this post. ⚠️) But that’s my job. As a Response Cop and now

I’ve just got back and am sat with a colleague who was punched today. Was told she was a ‘disgrace to females’ and a ‘murderer’ today. She’s going to respond to 999 calls tomorrow. Without questioning it. Yes, it didn’t go the way anyone wanted it to, but this is also wrong.

There’s a big group of people in society who deserve a mention right now. 👀 The families & loved ones of Cops and Emergency Service workers who are seeing them go to work everyday and not know if they’ll come back in one piece. 😔 Thank you for supporting us. #ThinBlueLine 🚨
