Jair Bolsonaro is a notorious homophobe who once said he'd rather his son die than be a gay man.
@Marriott
wants to host an event honoring him as Man of the Year. That's unacceptable. Sign on and join me in telling Marriott to #CancelBolsonaro:
Friends who use chloroquine to treat lupus have already started to get in touch with my staff to report that they can no longer get their prescriptions. Trump is jeopardizing the lives of people using a proven treatment.
VICTORY: We took on the homophobic President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro and we won. According to Brazilian news reports, he's pulled out of the event at the Marriott Marquis and cancelled his trip to the US. Hate has no home in New York. #CancelBolsonaro

This is a disastrous decision by Madison Square Garden that will endanger the public safety of New Yorkers and has the potential to incite widespread violence. For the good of NYC and its residents, I demand
@TheGarden
keep our city safe by cancelling the Trump rally 3/3
I’ve confirmed with
@TheGarden
that they signed an agreement with Trump to hold a rally on October 27 at 3 pm at MSG, which is in my Senate district 1/3

Let’s be clear. Allowing Trump to hold an event at MSG is equivalent to the infamous Nazis rally at Madison Square Garden on February 20, 1939 2/3
I can’t stress this enough. If you’re home on a work from home policy, don’t buy all your food from Amazon or all your staples from Walmart. Your local businesses need you to survive. Support them.
Madison Square Garden gets over $40M/year in property tax breaks. If James Dolan wants to treat it as his private stadium & ban fans for merely suggesting he sell a team, then perhaps Albany should take his lead—and redirect those public dollars to Penn Station’s MTA facilities.
In past years, it has been the responsibility of the NYPD to transport ballots from poll sites to the Board of Elections.
@NYCMayor
and @NYPDShea, we need to see action. Electioneering and partisan activity cannot ever be tolerated by the City.
Homelessness is not a crime, and you are not better than the homeless.
Moved to tears by this. Thank you Zohran for standing up for trans New Yorkers on this #NationalComingOutDay 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
LGBTQ conversion therapy is child abuse.
I’ve gotten more telephone calls, emails, texts & voicemails in support of congestion pricing than any other other issue - ever - during my decade in the NYS Senate (that even includes hatred from anti-vaxxers 😱)
You're using a photo of an Asian man in Flushing when the patient was identified as a Manhattan woman who traveled to Iran. What gives,
