Cavs force a game 7. Warriors look to do likewise tomorrow. We haven’t had BOTH conference finals go 7 games since 1979.
Great note by Jim Nantz. Jack Buck called the last Chiefs Superbowl on CBS 50 years ago. Joe Buck will call the Chiefs in SB54 in 2 weeks.
In 1990, my broadcast journey was just beginning in Albany NY. In 2000, I made it to ESPN Radio, hoping to break into our game coverage. In 2010, I was studio hosting our big games but hoping to get more PxP opportunities. In 2020, well, I’m living out my dream job. Blessed.
Thanks to all my teammates

Couldn’t do it without you!
70 degrees in Toronto in mid April?? The roof is open at Rogers Center. Raptors game at the other end of the street. Big sports night downtown.
I was reading interview transcripts of
@StephenCurry30
last weekend in Charlotte and saw “wham bam can of ham”. I did a double and triple-take. Now it makes perfect sense. Well played!

Please say a prayer or two for our good friend Bob Valvano (
@VShowradio
) He had heart bypass surgery yesterday and is now in recovery. His broadcast season ends on the eve of Champ Week, but I can’t wait to hear his take on the Tournament and of course work with him next fall!
The Cavs may have hit a low point tonight in San Antonio. Kyrie Irving just came back out to get extra shots before hitting the shower.
I had headphones on, and the crowd reaction to those 2 plays were as loud as any building I’ve been in for a very long time.
It was an honor to finish off the NBA bubble experience with this crew over the last 4 weeks. Time to check out and head home. Congrats Lakers. Well done NBA.

Absolutely heartbroken. As nice a guy as he was an ace reporter. Always kind when we crossed paths. Devastated for his wife and kids. RIP
First trip to Lubbock. Thx to the folks at Texas Tech for a tour of The Jones as well as the practice facility. TT hosts (13) Oregon tomorrow night
