09:18 pm - Time for the Little One to Come HomeFrom what I could tell, the actual birth didn't look too terrible for Lilah. Of course, I'm sure that had a lot to do with the pain medication that she had been given, and not that the birthing process is actually easy or anything silly like that. Luckily for us, there were no complications, and Samantha Morgan-Pryce is a healthy baby girl whom, personally, I can't wait to spoil rotten. I'm not even going to pretend that it isn't going to happen. Mother and daughter stayed the next night in the hospital, and the doctor cleared the two of them to go home the next morning. Roger and I had the house prepared to Lilah and Samantha's arrival in hopes of making things easier on the both of them. After getting everything ready, I went to the hospital to pick the two of them up.Current Location: HospitalCurrent Mood:  excited |

Everything had gone well with the birth, Wes had decided to be all traditional when it came time for me to actually give birth to Sam. Given the amount of swearing and screaming I was doing it was probably a wise idea. Sam's the most adorable little girl in the entire world though. I was so happy that we were finally able to take her home today though. Roger and Wes had gotten everything at home all set for us, and Wes was here to take us home.
He also insitson calling Sam, Samantha and gets this annoyed look on his face whenever I call her Sam it's kind of cute really.

"Alright, Lilah and Samantha," I said with a smile when I met them in their room. "Are you ready to go, or is there anymore paperwork to fill out?"

I smiled at him as I held Sam in my arms. "Yeah we're all set to go, I'm guessing the Roger's waiting back at the house?" I asked as I put Sam in her brand new carrier, and then grabbed my things.

"Yeah, I think he might be trying to get you some dinner put together that isn't hospital food," I told her. I'm not sure how that will turn out, hopefully it won't be a complete disaster.

I laughed at that. "And you left him alone n our kitchen? Risky,but it should be fine." Roger knows he's dead if he ruins anything in the house. I picked up sam's carrier and started for the door.

"A bit of a risk, but I'm sure that it will be well worth it," I said to her with a grin. Plus, I'm sure he knows what Lilah will do to him if he sets our stove on fire or something like that. I helped her with some of Samantha's stuff and walked with her to the door.

I nodded and let Wes take Sam's stuff, as I walked with him to the car. Once at the car I got into the passenger's seat after we made sure that Sam was all set in the back seat.

I got into the driver's seat once we were all in the car and quickly drove us home. When we arrived, I looked at the house. "No fire, or smoke pouring out. Always a good sign."

I smiled at his remarks about the house being okay. "Yeah it is." Once he stopped the car, I got out and grabbed Sam then headed into the house with her and Wes. I was very happy to be home.

I grabbed her bags and followed her into the house. I saw Roger standing in the kitchen, standing over a plate of only slightly burnt pancakes. They were really only crisp around the edges. I'm impressed.

I smiled and hugged Roger when I saw him. after I hugged him I looked just past him at the slightly burnt pancakes that he'd made for us. "well at least you didn't burn down the kitchen or the house." I took a seat at the kitche table, placing Sam's carrier on the chair next to me.

I watched as Roger hugged her back and laughed at her comment about not burning the house down. As he put out the food on the table, I walked over and looked at Samantha for a little while. I just couldn't help but marvel at her.
"I certainly tried my best to keep your home in one piece," Roger said.

I nodded at Roger's comment about keeping the house in one piece. I then started in on my food, and glanced over at Wes.
Roger smiled as he followed Lilah's gaze. "He's going to spoil that adorable little girl like crazy." I merely nodded in agreement.

I could hear the two of them talking behind me, that I was going to spoil Samantha rotten, which, unfortunately, was probably true. However, how can you say no to a girl so pretty?

I let Roger work on dinner as I walked over to Wes. I put my arms around his shoulders and kissed his neck. I looked down at Sam and smiled brightly. "She's perfect."
