Amac- Egitim sistemimizde okul yoneticilerinin toplanti yonetimi tutum ve becerilerinden olan top... more Amac- Egitim sistemimizde okul yoneticilerinin toplanti yonetimi tutum ve becerilerinden olan toplanti yonetim becerileri, zaman yonetimi, salon tesislerini yonetme, toplanti gundemi, katilimcilari yonetme ve toplanti tutanaklarini yonetme becerilerine ne kadar sahip oldugunu ve ogretmenlerin bu konudaki algilarini 2009 ve 2021 yili bulgularini karsilastirarak incelemektir. Yontem- Arastirma, nicel bir saha calismasi niteliginde temel bir arastirmadir. Veri toplama araci olarak anket kullanilmistir. Kolayda orneklem metoduyla anket katilimcilarina ulasilmistir. Arastirmanin degiskenlerini olcmek icin 5’li Likert Tipi olcek kullanilmistir. Bulgular- MEB’e bagli okullarda gorevli yoneticilerin “Toplanti Yonetimi Tutum ve Becerileri” ogretmenlerin goruslerine gore degerlendirildiginde cinsiyet, ogrenim durumu ve meslekteki hizmet suresi degiskenleri acisindan bu goruslerin anlamli duzeyde farklilik gosterdigi gorulmustur. Purpose-is to examine the meeting management skills and attitudes of the school managers in our e... more Purpose-is to examine the meeting management skills and attitudes of the school managers in our education system and to examine the perceptions of teachers on this issue by making a comparison between 2009 findings and 2021 findings. Methodology-The research is a basic quantitative field study. Questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. Survey participants were reached using the convenience sampling method. 5-point Likert scales was used for measuring research variables. Findings-When the meeting management attitudes and skills of the administrators working in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education are evaluated according to the opinions of the teachers, it is observed that these opinions differ significantly in terms of gender, educational status and duration of service in the profession. School managers' meeting management skills have differentiated significantly over the years in terms of sub-dimensions such as time management, managing hall facilities, meeting agenda, managing participants and meeting minutes. Conclusion-According to teachers' perceptions, school managers meeting management skills have a statistically significant difference over the years. Teachers participating in the study in 2021 perceive that school managers' meeting management skills have improved more positively than in 2009. Considering that meeting management skills in the digital environment will gain more importance in the digital transformation processes of education, much more extensive research to be done in this field will benefit literature.

Purpose-It is clear that researches on stakeholders of education contribute to responsible living... more Purpose-It is clear that researches on stakeholders of education contribute to responsible living in order to better understand the current situation and design sustainability. Identification of problems will contribute to the solution of problems of educational stakeholders. Education on responsible leaving is a learning process that increases student's knowledge and awareness and prepares learners to change their attitudes, then behaviors. Although there is a great deal of research on students, few empirical research attempts have been made to search environmental awareness of teachers and school managers who are most powerful stakeholders for bringing changes in education system. Methodology-This paper will be an attempt to study an environmental awareness of teachers and school managers in private schools by their demographical qualities. In order to stimulate debates that demographical qualities influence teachers and school managers environmental awareness, a total of 418 teachers and managers were selected and an environmental awareness scale was employed to assess their knowledge, attitude and behaviors. Findings-The results of the research show that there is significant difference between demographical qualities of school managers/teachers and their environmental awareness in terms of knowledge, attitude and behaviors. Conclusion-Based on these researches findings, institutions should do more to promote environmental awareness programs in teacher education curricula by taking into consideration teachers and administrators demographical qualities. Instead of transmissive teaching methodologies, it is expected that institutions start to use new techniques like transformative methodologies that go beyond the teaching method to also reflect the philosophy and purpose of sustainability education
