Welcome to the YourGhostStory community at Livejournal. We're dedicated to sharing our own personal experiences with the strange and the unexplained. Feel free to read our accounts, but also consider joining and post your own!

We are open to affilations with other related communities, so if you're interested, don't be afraid to inquire :).

Community Rules

This isn't a very strict community, but please follow the few rules that there are so that it doesn't become a big mess.

  1. Please only post personal experiences related to ghosts. You may post stories of friends and family (with their permission), but do not post fiction.

  2. This community is for ghosts, spirits and demons only. Do not post accounts of aliens or bigfoot. There are other communities for that.

  3. Feel free to post pictures and videos as long as their are your own.

  4. Please try to write clearly and as correct as possible. Text speak is unacceptable and full sentences are appreciated. That's all for now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask questions for clarification.Posting Guidelines

  2. Both friends-only and public posts are welcome.

  3. If your story is quite long, try to use a lj-cut.

  4. If you'd like to post pictures or videos, please make sure pictures and videos are not oversized, 450 pixel in width or 250k in size maxium (unless under lj-cut).

  5. If you'd like to post a lot of pictures, just use a lj-cut and let people know that it's image heavy.

  6. If your encounter has adult themes, please mark it as such. That's all for now. If you have any questions, feel free to ask questions for clarification.
