Modifier and Type Method Description static StandardNamespace findFirst(Operation op) If the passed in operation is a NamespaceOperation, or aNamedOperation wrapping a NamespaceOperation, then it returns the first (if any) StandardNamespace in its namespace list. static StandardNamespace valueOf(String name) Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. static StandardNamespace[] values() Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. * ### Methods declared in class java.lang.[Enum](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html "class in java.lang") `[clone](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#clone%28%29), [compareTo](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#compareTo%28E%29), [equals](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#equals%28java.lang.Object%29), [finalize](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#finalize%28%29), [getDeclaringClass](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#getDeclaringClass%28%29), [hashCode](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#hashCode%28%29), [name](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#name%28%29), [ordinal](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#ordinal%28%29), [toString](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#toString%28%29), [valueOf](../../../java.base/java/lang/Enum.html#valueOf%28java.lang.Class,java.lang.String%29)` * ### Methods declared in class java.lang.[Object](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html "class in java.lang") `[getClass](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#getClass%28%29), [notify](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#notify%28%29), [notifyAll](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#notifyAll%28%29), [wait](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#wait%28%29), [wait](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#wait%28long%29), [wait](../../../java.base/java/lang/Object.html#wait%28long,int%29)`
Enum Constant Detail
* #### PROPERTY public static final [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") PROPERTY Standard namespace for properties of an object. * #### ELEMENT public static final [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") ELEMENT Standard namespace for elements of a collection object. * #### METHOD public static final [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") METHOD Standard namespace for methods of an object. The method objects retrieved through a [StandardOperation.GET](StandardOperation.html#GET) on this namespace can be (and where object semantics allows they should be) unbound, that is: not bound to the object they were retrieved through. When they are used with[StandardOperation.CALL](StandardOperation.html#CALL) an explicit "this" receiver argument is always passed to them. Of course bound methods can be returned if the object semantics requires them and such methods are free to ignore the receiver passed in the`CALL` operation or even raise an error when it is different from the one the method is bound to, or exhibit any other behavior their semantics requires in such case.
Method Detail
* #### values public static [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink")[] values() Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows: for (StandardNamespace c : StandardNamespace.values()) System.out.println(c); Returns: an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared * #### valueOf public static [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") valueOf([String](../../../java.base/java/lang/String.html "class in java.lang") name) Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match _exactly_ an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.) Parameters: `name` \- the name of the enum constant to be returned. Returns: the enum constant with the specified name Throws: `[IllegalArgumentException](../../../java.base/java/lang/IllegalArgumentException.html "class in java.lang")` \- if this enum type has no constant with the specified name `[NullPointerException](../../../java.base/java/lang/NullPointerException.html "class in java.lang")` \- if the argument is null * #### findFirst public static [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") findFirst([Operation](Operation.html "interface in jdk.dynalink") op) If the passed in operation is a [NamespaceOperation](NamespaceOperation.html "class in jdk.dynalink"), or a[NamedOperation](NamedOperation.html "class in jdk.dynalink") wrapping a [NamespaceOperation](NamespaceOperation.html "class in jdk.dynalink"), then it returns the first (if any) [StandardNamespace](StandardNamespace.html "enum in jdk.dynalink") in its namespace list. If the passed operation is not a namespace operation (optionally wrapped in a named operation), or if it doesn't have any standard namespaces in it, returns `null`. Parameters: `op` \- the operation Returns: the first standard namespace in the operation's namespace list
