OK, but there should be big regressions. Otherwise we'd want to target experimental first.

It would be great if somebody could help sponsor this NMU now since the original maintainer shows up and agrees with it.

I will take a look (if there is still need for an sponsor) next weekend. (with some luck I will find time earlier, but cannot guarantee now)

If someone is faster grabbing the bug, go ahead, don't wait for me!
