This debian/README.source is unnecessary. Please upgrade to the debhelper compat level 10. Why are you skipping tests? Please collapse unreleases 2.2-* changelog entries into one. You need to close your ITP in the changelog. copyright info for debian/* is outdated. It seems that the package combines incompatible licenses (GPL-2 and GPL-3+)?

I hope all issues are now resolved to the satisfaction of the mentor(s).

To address the license issue. The upstream author used the file concerned prior to file being changed to GPL-2+. For reference, git commit for change to GPL-2+.
