ZX 6D [China Satcom]

ZX 6D (Zhongxing 6D, ChinaSat 6D) is a Chinese communications satellite based upon a DFH-4E bus.

The Chinasat 6D satellite provides commercial communications services with twenty-five C-band transponders and supports high-quality and reliable uplink and downlink transmissions of programs for the radio and TV stations and cable TV networks. It will be positioned at the orbital slot of 130� East.

The satellite is being manufactured by CAST and will be launched onboard a CZ-3B/G3 launch vehicle. The satellite was launched in April 2022 to replace ZX 6A.
