The Perm Governorate was an administrative unit of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union from 1781 to 1923. It was located on both slopes of the Ural Mountains, and included the cities of Perm and Yekaterinburg. Its administrative center was the city of Perm.

The region gave its name to the Permian period.
