The 2022–23 "European" Rugby Champions Cup will be the ninth season of the European Rugby Champions Cup, the annual club rugby union competition run by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) for teams from the top six nations in European rugby and South Africa. It will be the 28th season of pan-European professional club rugby competition. Dutch beer brand Heineken will continue as the title sponsor of the competition, extending their deal after their previous agreement expired at the end of the 2021–22 season. This will be the first year that the top teams from South Africa can qualify, following the inaugural United Rugby Championship season. The tournament will commence in December 2022. The final will be held at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland on May 20, 2023. Champions Cup2022-2023 Navigation Édition précédente La Champions Cup 2022-2023 (ou par habitude Coupe d'Europe de rugby à XV 2022-2023), oppose pour sa 28e édition vingt-quatre équipes anglaises, écossaises, françaises, galloises, irlandaises et sud-africaines. Le format de l'édition précédente est reconduit : les équipes sont réparties en deux poules de douze et s'affrontent partiellement, sur quatre matchs. Les meilleurs sont ensuite qualifiés pour une phase à élimination directe à partir des huitièmes de finale. Pour la première fois dans l'histoire de la compétition, des équipes sud-africaines membres du United Rugby Championship participent aux côtés des clubs européens. La compétition se déroule du 9 décembre 2022 au 20 mai 2023. La finale se joue à l'Aviva Stadium de Dublin.
