Die Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board (BARB) ist die Medienforschungsorganisation, die die Erhebung der Einschaltquoten für das Fernsehen in Großbritannien organisiert. BARB is jointly owned by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. Participating viewers have a box on top of their TV sets which tracks the programmes they watch.
