DARPA FALCON計画(Force Application and Launch from CONtinental United States)とは国防高等研究計画局（DARPA）とアメリカ空軍（USAF）がen:Prompt Global Strikeの一環として進める極超音速飛行体の計画。

Die Blackswift hätte von einer Start- und Landebahn abheben und auf Mach 6 beschleunigen sollen. Eine Absichtserklärung wurde im September 2007 unterzeichnet. Die Blackswift erhielt jedoch nicht die benötigte Finanzierung und wurde im Oktober 2008 abgesagt. Ein anderes Projekt des FALCON-Programms war das X-41 Common Aero Vehicle (CAV), eine gemeinsame Luft-Plattform für Hyperschall-Interkontinentalraketen, Marschflugkörper, Raumfähren und Trägerraketen. One part of the program aims to develop a reusable, rapid-strike Hypersonic Weapon System (HWS), now retitled the Hypersonic Cruise Vehicle (HCV), and the other is for the development of a launch system capable of accelerating an HCV to cruise speeds, as well as launching small satellites into Earth orbit. Blackswift was a project announced under the Falcon banner using a fighter-sized unmanned aircraft which would take off from a runway and accelerate to Mach 6 (7,400 km/h; 4,600 mph) before completing its mission and landing again. The memo of understanding (MoU) between DARPA and the USAF on Blackswift—also known as the HTV-3X—was signed in September 2007. The Blackswift HTV-3X did not receive needed funding and was canceled in October 2008. Current research under FALCON program is centered on X-41 Common Aero Vehicle (CAV), a common aerial platform for hypersonic ICBMs and cruise missiles, as well as civilian RLVs and ELVs. De straalmotor moet het vliegtuig voortstuwen naar een snelheid van Mach 3, waarna de ramjet moet zorgen voor een extra boost die leidt tot een snelheid van maximaal Mach 6. Na aankomst moet het toestel terugkeren en weer landen op een landingsbaan. De ramjet zal worden ontwikkeld door Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne. Stephen Walker van DARPA moet het project leiden.
