Frinvillier, in German Friedliswart, is a village in the Canton of Bern, district of Courtelary. Its populations is around 185 people. It belongs to the Bernese Jura, on the territory of the community Vauffelin.

(en) Frinvillier (deutsch Friedliswart) ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Sauge im Kanton Bern, es wurde 1311 erstmals als Friderichswart, ab 1393 als Frunwelier (Dorf oder Wachtposten eines Friederich) erwähnt. Das Dorf gehört zum Berner Jura und liegt im Tal der Schüss zwischen Rondchâtel und der Taubenlochschlucht. Im Westen grenzt das Ortsgebiet an Orvin. Von 1797 bis 1815 gehörte Frinvillier zu Frankreich, zuerst zum ehemaligen Département Mont-Terrible, ab 1800 dann zum Département Haut-Rhin. In Folge des Wiener Kongresses wurde das Gebiet 1815 dann dem Kanton Bern zugeordnet. Durch das Tal von Frinvillier führen die Kantonsstrasse Biel-Sonceboz, die Eisenbahnlinie Biel-Sonceboz und die Autobahn A 16 Transjurane.
