MGM-13 Martin Mace (englisch für Keule) war ein taktischer Lenkflugkörper des US-amerikanischen Rüstungsherstellers Herstellers Martin, die auf dem Marschflugkörper Matador basierte. Bis 1963 wurden sie als TM-76A und TM-76B bezeichnet, dann als MGM-13A (Mobile Ground Launched Missile) für Start von einer mobilen Rampe bzw. The Martin Mace was a ground-launched cruise missile developed from the earlier Martin TM-61 Matador. It used a new self-contained navigation system that eliminated the need to get updates from ground-based radio stations, and thereby allowed it to fly further beyond the front lines. To take advantage of this longer practical range, Mace was larger than Matador and could travel a longer total distance. The original A model used a system which required the missile to fly at low to medium altitudes. In 1959 a new inertial navigation system was introduced that offered similar accuracy but had no altitude limitation. By flying at higher altitudes the missile's range almost doubled with no other changes. This led to the B model of 1961, which was limited to fixed launching sites, unlike the A model's mobile trailers. Mace was replaced by the MGM-31 Pershing missile by then Secretary of Defence Robert McNamara, and later in its role as a cruise missile for West Germany, by the BGM-109G Ground Launched Cruise Missile. Introduced during a period of changing nomenclature, they were original designated TM-76A and TM-76B for "tactical missile" until 1963, then as MGM-13A for Mobile Ground-launched Missile and CGM-13 for Coffin Ground-launched Missile. De Martin Mace was een type kruisraket die tot 1963 bekendstond als TM-76 tactische raket. Daarna als MGM-13 en CGM-13. De Mace was een tactische grond-grond raket die ontwikkeld werd uit zijn voorganger de Martin Matador. * MGM-13 was de raket geplaatst op een mobiel lanceersysteem, de MM-1 Teracruzer. * CDM-13 was de raket geplaatst in een bunker in een container lanceersysteem. De Mace werd bij de USAF operationeel vanaf 1959 en bleef dit tot 1973. Vanaf 1965-1973 waren Mace eenheden in Europa actief in voormalig West-Duitsland, in het Verre Oosten in Korea en in Japan op Okinawa. De Martin Mace werd uitgebracht in 2 types * Mace A – die was voorzien van het door de firma Goodyear ontworpen Automatic Terrain Recognition And Navigation (ATRAN) terrein volgende radarnavigatie systeem. * Mace B – die was voorzien van een traagheidsnavigatie systeem met een vergroot bereik. De Mace werd vanaf 1973 vervangen door de tactische grond-grond raket. Na uitfasering werden de meeste Mace raketten als vliegende doelen, zogenaamde drones, gebruikt omdat hun afmeting en snelheid overeenkwam met die van de toen gangbare vliegtuigen. (nl)

Ele foi substituído em serviço pelo MGM-31 Pershing e depois no seu papel como míssil de cruzeiro para a Alemanha Ocidental pelo . A ogiva usada era uma B28. A Força Aérea do EUA implantou o Mace A na Alemanha Ocidental em 1959 na Base Aérea de Sembach. Um total de 6 esquadrões de mísseis foram equipados com o Mace nas bases aéreas de Sembach e Hahn.
