Jadeorden (chinesisch 采玉大勳章 / 采玉大勋章, Pinyin Cǎiyù Dà Xūnzhāng) ist der höchste zivile Orden der Republik China. Er wird durch den Präsidenten der Republik China verliehen. Er selbst erhält den Orden zu Beginn seiner Amtszeit als Amtsinsignie. Ordensempfänger können nur ausländische Staatsoberhäupter sein (oder die Oberhäupter souveräner Völkerrechtssubjekte). Der Orden wurde am 22. Dezember 1933 gestiftet. Die Ordensmedaille hat im Zentrum einen Stern aus Jade vor blauem Hintergrund. Die Form des Sterns entspricht dem Stern auf der Flagge der Republik China. Das Zentrum ist berandet von Gold und Perlenbesatz. Die Bandschnalle ist rot. (de)

The Order of Brilliant Jade is a civilian order of the Republic of China that can be worn only by the head of a nation. According to regulations, the order can only be presented by the president of the country or an emissary expressly dispatched to friendly nations for the conferment. The order was instituted in 1933. It has a star-patterned face of inlaid jade bordered with gold and pearls. In the centre there is white sun surrounded by blue sky, the national emblem. Previously, the Order of the Brilliant Jade was divided into two, namely Grand Order of Brilliant Jade (current) and Order of Brilliant Jade with nine ranks. (en)

De Orde van het Schitterende Jade werd op 2 december 1933 door de Chinese minister-president Chiang Kai-shek ingesteld als onderscheiding voor staatshoofden. Deze ridderorde kent slechts één enkele graad: Grootlint. De gedecoreerden dragen het kleinood van de orde aan een breed donkerrood lint over de schouder en de ster van de orde op de linkerborst. Toen in 1949 de verslagen Chinese regering naar Taiwan vluchtte bleef deze onderscheiding daar deel uitmaken van het decoratiestelsel van de Republiek China. De in Peking residerende regering van de Volksrepubliek China verleent deze onderscheiding niet. (nl)
